NATHANIEL BOWDITCH CURRICULUM
The story of Nathaniel Bowditch, mathematician, astronomer, navigator, and actuary is the story of post-revolutionary America and the achievements of one man during this remarkable period. His life and accomplishments are the basis for a unique mathematics, science and social studies curriculum for students in grades 5-9. Developed in 2001 by The Bowditch Initiative of Historic Salem, Inc, in partnership with the House of Seven Gable Historic Site, Salem, Massachusetts.
